WinMD5 is freeware distributed by ING America, Inc. Download the install file here. WinMD5 is also available for download on the ICH M2 eCTD web site: http://estri.ich.org/ectd/. WinMD5 will create a message digest file for any file you select. The message digest file is created by default in the same directory as the target file. WinMD5 will verify any message digest file and its corresponding target file.

The eCTD validator (GECCO Pro only) allows you to check any eCTD for compliance with the ICH eCTD specification (Version 3.2) and regional requirements in the US, EU and Canada. Rules are user configurable (rules which are considered “critical” are always run).
